چکیده

Al-Mg-based composite is used in producing a variety of components. To improve the machinability composite, MoS2 added. For characterizing machining different wt.% (2, 4, and 6) are added as reinforcement. Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) process performed to analyze kerf width surface roughness. Due complex nature WEDM process, necessity for its optimization through use innovative methods well-proven research. Evolutionary algorithms, specifically genetic algorithm based on NSGA-II Multiple Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO), optimizing assessing impact current, pulse time, gap voltage roughness, an analysis selected parameters performed. MOPSO takes lesser iterations compared giving nearly same optimal fronts achieving low The 10–12 A 50–57 µs 30–33 V Pareto-optimal solutions better performance achieved samples. In addition, supplementary DOE method applied determine relationship between factors affecting response. revealed that current has played major part governance roughness over time Al-Mg-MoS2 composite.

Optimizing a multi-product closed-loop supply chain using NSGA-II, MOSA, and MOPSO meta-heuristic algorithms

This study aims to discuss the solution methodology for a closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) network that includes the collection of used products as well as distribution of the new products. This supply chain is presented on behalf of the problems that can be solved by the proposed meta-heuristic algorithms. A mathematical model is designed for a CLSC that involves three objective functions of ma...

Modeling and Optimization of Wire EDM Process

The present work is aimed to optimize the parameters of (WEDM) process by considering the effect of input parameters viz. Time On, Time Off, Wire Speed & Wire Feed. Experiments have been conducted with these parameters in three different levels data related to process responses viz. Metal removal rate, surface roughness (Ra) have been measured for each of the experimental run. These data have b...

Extraction of decision alternatives in construction management projects: Application and adaptation of NSGA-II and MOPSO

The time-cost trade-off problem is a known bi-objective problem in the field of project management. Recently, a new parameter, the quality of the project has been added to previously considered time and cost parameters. The main specification of the time-cost trade-off problem is discretization of the decision space to limited and accountable decision variables. In this situation the efficiency...
